Top 5 Social Networking Apps in Georgia, Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top five social networking applications in Georgia exhibited diverse trends in downloads and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at $76 in the week of September 20. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 5.8K to 7.4K throughout the quarter.

Facebook, also from Meta Platforms, Inc., experienced a revenue peak of $222 in the last week of June, followed by a general decline, with a slight increase to $167 in late August. Download numbers were consistent, hovering around 5.3K to 6.8K weekly.

WhatsApp Messenger from WhatsApp Inc. did not generate any revenue during this period. However, its downloads were steady, with a low of around 4.3K in the week of August 30 and a high of approximately 6.4K in late July.

Rakuten Viber Messenger from Viber Media SARL saw its revenue peak at $78 in mid-August. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend from 5.7K in late July to around 3.8K by mid-September, before slightly increasing again towards the end of the month.

Lastly, Nomrebi: Caller ID from SG Coders, LLC maintained stable download numbers, peaking at 4.8K in mid-July and gradually declining to around 3.3K by mid-September, followed by a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter.
